Recently, Google Maps have added most of Egypt’s major landmarks to include The Pyramids, the Sphynx, obelisks, and other sites are now available via the Street View website.
According to Yahoo, Street View has covered 7.2 miles across the planet. Places like Angkor War in Cambodia, the Grand Canyon, India’s Taj Mahal, the Galapagos Islands, and the highest mountains in the world have been mapped.
The roads you see in Street View are usually done with camera-mounted cars. But for places like Egypt–which aren’t car-accessible–a person has to walk through the site with a camera.
