There have been many reports that Kanye West heckled a fan until the fan lifted up his prosthetic limb to prove he was handicapped at a concert.
This comes after the rapper asked everyone to stand up before doing a song but excused the handicapped during his concert in Sydney recently. The internet has reported many stories including one that claims the rapper wanted to get everyone to stand because of his “godly” powers.
A new video has emerged that actually shows what happened during the concert. People at the concert have claimed that the whole thing is being blown out of proportion. The star asked everyone in the crowd to stand saying: “I can’t do this song; I can’t do this show until everybody stand up. Unless you got a handicap pass and you get special parking and shit … I’ma see you if you ain’t standing up, believe me, I’m very good at that.”
Kanye then told a guy with a prosthetic limb, “Okay, you fine,” before spotting two other fans who were still seated. The crowd then directed their booing at the seated fan, not knowing that he was disabled. Kanye continued with: “This is the longest I’ve had to wait to do a song, it’s unbelievable,” but quickly adding, “Now if he’s in a wheelchair then its fine.”
The security confirmed that this indeed was the case so Kanye responded: “Oh, they are in a wheelchair? Right lets do this!”. They carried on with the concert and that was that.
