New Islands Emerges from Red Sea
Recent volcanic activity has been increasing along a rift in the Red Sea near the coast of Yemen, resulting in the creation of two new islands.
Activity has been increasing rapidly in the area for the first time in over 150 years. two new islands have surfaced that now belong to Yemen.
The first island to appear is now named Sholan and the second is named Jadid.
