New Alien Radio Bursts Found by Australian Team
An Australian team at the Swinburne University of Technology has found an unusual radio burst coming from outside our galaxy.
PhD student Emily Petroff first noticed the signal in real time, this is the first time this has even been done. Some other astronomers have noticed similar radio bursts but did not notice till weeks or even months had passed. With Dr. Petroff’s discovery gives us a unique opportunity to find possible where exactly this signal originated from.
Other teams across the world have swong their telescopes in the direction the bursts originated from hoping to possibly catch the signals again.
