ISIS Upset Over Fake Social Media Accounts
In an interesting twist, the Leader of the Islamic State, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is upset over people making fake accounts and posing as the Islamic Caliphate.
They may be trying to cut through the confusion and chatter coming out of their caliphate, cracking down on social media accounts that claim to speak for the terrorist organization. A spokesperson for this Islamic State says there are only 4 real and authorized social media accounts that represent ISIS/ISIL.
This may be because there was much confusion last week over the hostage trade deal between them and Jordan for the swap of a Japanese journalist Mr. Goto and Jordan’s Air Force pilot for the caliphates hotel bomber.
