Twitterstorm: Obama Had Trump’s Phone Tapped Just Prior to the Election

Early this Saturday morning President Donald Trump woke and started his day with a Twitterstorm.

Tweets claiming that then, President Obama and his administration has his phones at Trump Tower located in New York City tapped just around election time. The claim is, nothing was found referring to information about accusations the current Democratic Party has been recently whipping up again from the 1980’s that Donald Trump and people within his campaign have “Cold War” Russian connections.

This claim is backed up by the findings of 2 FISA warrants issued by the Obama Admin to ‘wire tap’ the then Presidential Candidate Donald Trump at his famed Trump Towers in New York City in October 2016, just one month before the election.  Former President Obama at the time was campaiging for Trump’s adversary Democratic Nominee Hillary Clinton.

President Trump went on claiming that this is McCarthyism. McCarthyism is the practice of making accusations of subversion or treason without proper regard for evidence. It also means “the practice of making unfair allegations or using unfair investigative techniques, especially in order to restrict dissent or political criticism.”

President Trump also lays claims to this being similar to the Nixon Watergate scandal. Watergate was a major political scandal that occurred in the United States in the 1970s, following a break-in at the Democratic National Committee (DNC) headquarters at the Watergate office complex in Washington, D.C. in 1972 and President Richard Nixon’s administration’s attempted cover-up of its involvement. When the conspiracy was discovered and investigated by the U.S. Congress, the Nixon administration’s resistance to its probes led to a constitutional crisis. The scandal led to the discovery of multiple abuses of power by the Nixon administration, an impeachment process against the president that led to articles of impeachment, and the resignation of Nixon. The scandal also resulted in the indictment of 69 people, with trials or pleas resulting in 48 being found guilty, many of whom were Nixon’s top administration officials.

Recent accusations by the Democratic Party are that President Trump and people within his campaign and now administration have ties with the Russians to undermine the US elections and ultimately gain an advantage over US policy. Though there has been no information found to back this claim, on going investigations into this matter are in progress within the FBI. This also comes on the heels of their newest claim that Attorney General Jeff Session who supported Donald Trumps Presidential run has a ‘secret meeting’ with a Russian Ambassador last September while he was a Senator. Jeff Sessions claims the meeting was standard of his duties and nothing concerning the campaign was discussed, also he had 2 other witnesses to this meeting to back his claims. Sessions has said he would recuse himself or step aside if any investigations concerning the Trump Campaign or the Russians hit his desk, but none so far are reported.

Some people claim the Watergate Scandal was a ‘soft coup’ or a quiet targeting by the Democratic Party to take out President Nixon and his administration by exaggerating evidence and twisting information to disfame the President. The use of carefully placed people within the White House to ‘setup’ the Nixon administration early into his Presidency. Similarities ring true to drummed up Cold War stories being pushed by the Democratic Party today about Wikileaks Russian Trump connection staging an “Electronic Break-in” to gain DNC emails, though no evidence has been found of Trump or Trump’s team that they have any connections to the Russians despite several investigations.

Former President Obama has set up an office in Washington DC just down the street from the White House, in what some claim is a ‘shadow government’ where he and his former team can set up shop to oust the new President and his team. This is the first time a former US President has not left Washington DC following his term. There’s is a string of suspicious activity conducted by the former Obama Administration just days before he left office including leaving a “trail” of information about Trump’s ‘Russian Connection’ that many claim is a direct fabrication of evidence intended to set up the incoming President.

The Democratic Party has been full of scandals over the past few years including a private server email scandal purported by the former Democratic Party Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton. She was using a private email server to conduct official government business in an attempt to hide her dealing. Thousands of emails were destroyed by her team and not enough information was found according the James Comey head of the FBI to make a case against Clinton. James Comey took massive criticism over the ruling as there was indeed some damming information for criminal proceedings.
